Beaches for dogs in Croatia
On most beaches in Croatia dogs are forbidden, and the owner can get a fine regardless of this, especially if the beach is full of people.
Dog beaches in Croatia
Several communities have noted that there is a considerable number of tourists who would like to bring their dog to Croatia. Since not everyone likes swimming or sharing their beach with a dog, these communities have opened a special section of the beach or even entire beaches such as dog beaches. In these beaches there is usually a blue sign with a dog, illustrating the possibility of bringing the dog to the beach.
